SHOP FOREPERSON - The ideal candidate will be an experienced CabinetMaker with a diverse, commercial millwork shop background. In this role, you will be a key team member in ensuring production operates smoothly. Supervising a staff of approximately 12 - 20 people, you will be able to provide training and accurate instruction to ensure work flow is optimized. Strong communication skills, high organization aptitudes and ability to work in a fast paced environment are essential. Candidate should be eligible for security clearance, have some computer skills, and be quality and customer service oriented. Being flexible and a quick thinker will ensure that you succeed in this role. FINISHER (Experienced)- To support our continued growth, we are seeking to add to our team an experienced Finisher. You must have an eye for detail, be highly organized, ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment and hold a high level of commitment to quality. Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year or more of spray booth experience including handling and maintenance of all booth equipment. Proven experience with stain matching to existing samples and exposure to a variety of finishing techniques are required. Dependability and reliability with a great attitude are a MUST! Flexibility for varied working hours, overtime as required and occaisional project site work are attributes. CABINET MAKER (Experienced) - applicant will have an intermediate skill level with 2 - 4 years or more experience in all aspects of cabinet building and assembly preferably in a commercial millwork shop. Must have the capacity to work in a fast-paced, highly diversified environment. Assets will include any exposure to higher level custom work, ability to read architectual drawings. Candidate must be able to work well in a team as well as complete projects independantly. JUNIOR CABINET DESIGN / PROGRAMMER - To support our continued growth, we are seeking to fill a full time Junior Cabinet Design / Programmer position. The ideal candidate will have experience with CabinetVision v9.0 including Screen to Machine software and Aspire v8.0, have operated a Biesse CNC Router, be able to read construction architectural blueprints and be familiar with all aspects of cabinet making from design and build through assembly and installation. Role and responsibility will include creation of internal shop drawings, communication with clients and shop staff, programming of components to send to the Biesse CNC, preparation of material lists for accounting, and a variety of other tasks as required. In addition, the preferred candidate will have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, work very well with minimal supervision, interact well with others, and be highly flexible and adaptable. You will assist other coworkers with any number of jobs from sanding and sealing to basic assembly and glue up to pushing a broom or going out on deliveries. Opportunities to be trained on a variety of hand tools, power tools and commercial machinery. We are seeking positive attitudes, willingness to learn and honest good hard workers. Backgrounds in woodworking, carpentry, facility and grounds maintenance considered strong assets. DELIVERY DRIVER - in this physically demanding role, the candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading product and shop and client sites, maintenance and accountability for the delivery vehicle and coordination of various pick up and drop off requirements. A variety of other tasks may be assigned as required. Mechanical aptitudes, organizational skills, excellent customer service skill set, familiarity with the Ottawa area and communication skills are required attributes.
